The CALLIPO brand was founded in 1913 in Pizzo (Calabria, Italy), historically known for its tuna industry. The company was one of the first in Italy who start producing canned tuna. Since the founding mission of the brand was the "Quality First" and has since 1926  CALLIPO become the official supplier of the Royal court. 

Today, the CALLIPO brand isa family tradition of quality that has been transmitted for five generations. Only yellowfin tuna is used to produce the all CALLIPO products, and each jar is only filled manually.
